biggest problem with plugins imo is that often they don't support the same things as the daw does so usually come without linux installers (even though the code runs just fine on linux... )

it would be nice if companies could ship to linux and just say ' yeah good luck on that' and do some fixes where they feel the time is well spent. but unfortunately that's also not acceptable in the market, so it's eithe

visual languages are good for very specific domains. look at Reaktor from native instruments, thats something which does work a lot better visually as a lot of the people who need that functionality aren't programmers neccesarily, and

i dont see how this is different from regular programming to be honest. perhaps that you dont have side effects as a possibility, but i just see someone making functions and tying them together and supplying inputs and outputs? :/ seem

:') i feel these old dos things are nice to discuss, if you look at current documentation and implementation of x86_64 systems a lot of these techniques still seem valid. most awsome work i could find on such things was z0mbie's w

i still only code in C, didn't start in the stone ages, but i love it. C and asm give me the feeling i'm programming my computer, and really for low level stuff trying to find a good alternative which is as good and simple (yes si

hardware supply chain security often is placed in assurance work rather than the 'cyber' domain or buzzword. for a long time now at least for intelligence agencies this kind of work is already done quite thoroughly. (decapping chi

Not being a rust programmer myself, my comment should be taken as that: You commented in your code on some long functions needing to be decomposed, that might be a good start, your own todo. :-) Other than this as a c programmer i see some

sirius-m (first poster on the sourceforge repo) sure didn't have a clue who he / they was / were. article lists no sources or anything. just another speculative story with a clickbait name.

i would say like you say it depends on the quality of the comments documenting the code. if they are correct then it shows a thorough understanding of what is written in code, apart from that a complete stranger to the code can easily find

this is how my code looks until it's done, where i take out all of the nonsense and make it unmaintainable, shooting myself in the foot for any development i need to do on it in the future. love it :D
