I have a PHP book, talks about creating scalable websites, and Flickr is a big part of the book, and I've learned heaps of cool practices from it. It makes me wonder, did Yahoo! screw up Flickr when they bought it? Or was it going out? Beca

I remember a few weeks back, Paul Buchheit was talking about how he believes ChromeOS may get merged with Android or similar and he mentioned "The basic idea is that apps and data all live on the Internet, which is has been renamed "The Clo

I really like this. I'm actually using it now. Could you not join Facebook Groups and start 'talking' about your website? For example, join some music lovin' group and mention it... or even get in touch with the owners/admins and ask to "af

I see quite often people talk about 'good practices' in web-programming but generally say "don't worry about scale issues... if it becomes an issue, you've just beaten 90% of other startups" umm, isn't this a bad practice? Because when you

I did open this up ready to criticize, but err... I love it. I don't have much to say other than the YouTube video ought to be a bit bigger. (Perhaps not in the center but before the left and right boxes so it's more 'widescreen'). Great wo
