As I see it's licensed under Apache 2.0. I don't know about any regional restrictions for this type of license. But it's could be a real reason because of our stupid government.

Are they serious? They are banning Russian IPs with decompiler source code. Hmm, I know ARM and x86 assembly. Of course, I don't know how to download these sources :)

Of course, we have both, but 100k is nothing if it's not a CDN server which stores static file in-memory. Moreover, the main metric is latency, not a number of connections. You can scale a number of connections with an L3/L4 load

I can handle 120k connections per second with my custom made, highly optimized multiprocess C++ server. But the main problem is business logic. Just make 2 SQL queries to MySQL on each HTTP request and look at how it will degrade.

Disclaimers don't work. In Soviet Russia, a lot of people believe in strange things like this one https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Water_(2006_film) Rossiya 1 is one of the primary TV channels with a huge audience. W

About 30% of all sites have HTTP/2 support. I don't remember where I saw this. I'm curious why the number is so small because nginx has HTTP/2 out of the box. But if your primary users are using Microsoft IE/Edge I

Unix sockets and pipes are portable across all Unix(POSIX, because Linux is not Unix, but OS X is). Furthermore Unix sockets and pipes backwards compatible to 4.4BSD Unix or older OS. Actually, this comparison is not correct. Windows and Un

Why Linux? It's a simple hybrid kernel. It will be better to rewrite HURD/L4.

It's not a problem. The main problem is the assembly code. There is no way to inline it in JS code. After boot time system should make some things like A20, enable paging/protected and long mode, build GDT/IDT.

We can start with nodejs. Nodejs with async model will be the best solution to achieve the best performance(after 'delete spaces' method of course).

I'm living in Russia, we don't have any extra taxes. Actually, we have a lot of local clones with the same prints from Threadless(of course illegal), but a price and quality worse than Threadless.
