I tried such systems in the past and the success was limited. When floppy was replaced with image reader, the device wouldn't read half of them. But it would read the floppies just fine. I wonder if anything has changed since. I tried

It's a shame we relabelled corruption as lobbying. The damage it has done is untold. One thing that China does should be adopted in the West.

Effect of law enforcement not doing their jobs. Chat Control is illegal in many countries including Germany and that includes preparation for the roll out. Just need a prosecutor with a spine.

Fable is really weird, it's like clever and dumb at the same time. I worked on some research with it and the resulting document was a mix of brilliance and complete stupidity. Took ages to clean it up with other models.

In the UK, when I reported a crime, I had to pull out the book and read the verse what constitutes an assault for Police to record it, because they didn't know. That said, 3 weeks later case was closed because they couldn't find t

Law enforcement should stop them. In countries like Germany this is very likely illegal and amounts to preparation of terrorist act.

This would be illegal in Germany. I wonder why law enforcement is not looking into this. It is similar to having abusive husband control wife's communication - just at scale and for ideological reason. This is a violent act against who

This is obvious. I bet there are already lavish dinners designed to manufacture support amongst politicians for such regulation. The big AI companies cannot leave money on the table. The local models will be restricted sooner or later as lo

I remember last time I was in the club (decade or so ago), the bouncers were taking IDs and photocopying them and of course there was CCTV as well and police were visible outside of the club.

That is your assumption without evidence. Once the targeted market knows others are tracking the price, it can up the price without fear competing market will undercut.
