What's scarier? The price or the belief that there's a large enough market for this at that price?

You should interview defensively at least a couple times a year IMO. It is good to know your market value. HR knows your market value. When your pay and your market value go wildly out of line, it's time to step up. This happens di

I would get the data first before approaching you and then lie about whether I had already done so. It's the sort of white lie that protects both parties. If your dog died that day, you might just fire me on the spot. Or if I'm

True. And although I wouldn't do this every 6-12 months myself, I do interview a couple times a year just to keep my interviewing skills sharp because you're right, everyone is an expendable at-will employee. I only escalate if I

I suspect what's great about assistants like Siri, Alexa, and even Google Now is less that they have voice interfaces and more that they have well-funded support teams behind them to deliver exponentially more efficient routing of quer

There's a real opportunity for AMD here if NVIDIA doesn't release a consumer variant of Volta because Titan X Pascal intentionally cripples FP16 performance to drive P100 adoption. It's the same sort of nonsense they pulled

HR is driven by data. To kill open floor plans, start citing the floor plan as the primary reason for leaving. If that becomes a theme, IMO open floor plans will become cancer. It just takes time.
