Mobile OS's have far passed peak change. I think iOS 7 was peak change. Where it went to the transparent UI, swipe up bar etc. Everything since has been a tweak. The next future of "big change" will come in VR/AR || carO

Medium is great for IT related articles. Why is everyone complaining? Is there another source of good software dev/architecture articles that everyone is going to for quality content?

I had no idea really about node-red either as I prefer to code vs WYSIWG code. However, I found premade node-red dashboard extremely helpful. Heres a real example. https://medium.com/@mitchross09/solar-energy-monitorin

All coins, minus bitcoin, can be printed out of thin air, including ETH. Bitcoin cannot because it has a hard limit of 20 million coins. This is a protection against inflation and so called "soft money". No one can just print 1000

This still happens regardless of remote work. People still live in the cities. The city isn't 100% full of remote tech workers. I think there is some assumption that remote work represents the majority, which its not even close.

As an experiment this is cool. As an excuse not to buy a Mac to do iPhone development this is insanely useless and a waste of time. Just buy a damn Mac if you are gonna do anything with iPhone development.

If you want an alternative to Pi-hole. I highly recommend AdGuard home. https://github.com/AdguardTeam/AdguardHome . Every thing is way more intuitive and list management is a breeze.

I think it's important to note for those reading this thread. You do not have to quit caffeine/coffee. These comments read like you must be in some crazy camp if you havent quit coffee yet like it's some sort of cult.

This is totally irrelevant if you are replacing caffeine with adderall. This is like saying you can stop drinking beer it doesnt reduce social anxiety. I solved this by taking a low dose of xanax.

Unraid is frustrating. Its good at making a dead simple nas and offers enough customizations with the "community apps" that you are stepping into the world of mixing NAS with a linux server. No docker compose support is maddening.

Hey thanks for replying! When you go the command route as you stated here. Does the UI show k8-at-home as a catalog? If I install a "app" from k8-at-home using the helm install, does it show up in the UI of TrueNas as a app? Or is

To make matters worse, you cant use standard helm charts. https://github.com/k8s-at-home/charts/issues/1093
