There is a setting for switching to "delete" as the default swipe action. From inside gmail: Settings -> General Settings -> Gmail default action.

I've seen https://waffle.io/ talked about in previous posts, but haven't used it or Taiga. Github issues is painful enough in the past that, for companies I've been in at least, we used other issue trackers a

I'm not sure how that kind of service could work without collecting that data, although I'd certainly like to know more details on "credentials that may be embedded".

I think it's because the list is being built by pull requests. Two people submit a Log Monitoring section at the same time and the repo owner merges without really paying attention.

This looks interesting to me, but your website leaves many unanswered questions such as: can I get remote console access? how does the ddos protection work?

I was definitely using this page as a resource in 2000-2001. I was going to try and use Python Medusa module (precursor of Twisted) to scale connections.

I haven't had issues, but I'm only using -O2. I also have to do "-march=native -mno-avx -mno-aes" because I'm on a Xen instance that doesn't allow the avx/aes instructions.

I would say there are two primary ways DDT helps you spot database performance problems. The first is that "oh my god" moment when you see via DDT that your view is doing 100+ queries to the database. This leads to research into D

For AJAX the https://github.com/recamshak/django-debug-panel also works, although you need to install the matching chrome extension. (Don't know if it works yet with this new release of django-debug-toolbar).

I had Metal Machine Music on 8-track tape. This made it even better because of the infinite loop playback and, as the tape inevitably started distorting it didn't really make any difference!

I, for one, really appreciate your work (and anyone else who contributed to docs of course). I remember the days when we had to figure stuff out just by looking at other people's config files. I think I even got some of my earliest S

In the HN thread earlier this week Gentoo was more accurately described as being part of the build tool chain. This makes a ton of sense to me and something I thought about doing if I ever wanted to "make my own distro".

Similarly to aarondf, we have a bunch of CPA's who will want time clock, task, and projects in the API. We don't need realtime.

It looks like you're competing with ccmixter.org, loophunter, etc. but you're still very early stage. There's no licensing information or organization/categorization (which seems kind of critical for service like this).

I see "disruption" as either removing middlemen (disrupting supply chain) or changing consumer expectations in a market. Adding a middleman in the supply chain isn't disruption so much as making it more efficient for producers to reach cons

Anyone else fondly remember Interleaf? I now have a love/hate relationship with OOWriter but expect I would pay a lot for a working clone of Interleaf on Linux. I used it both on Apollo workstations and on PCDOS.
