I'd argue the same thinking could have been applied--perhaps moreso--to Palm/HP's webOS, which was thrusting in the same direction as mid-range tablet OS with the Touchpad, and into a desktop-capable OS (demonstrated in early

This is exactly the same format I've used, with two exceptions: I _do_ look at previous work, and the "custom project" isn't done in-person to keep it low-stress. This allows me to draw parallels in terms of patterns use

Why FA insists on abusing the Italics tag (repurposing it as "Icon") instead of leveraging the appropriate <span> is...specious at best.

Replacing the Facebook app on Android with Metal (or any one of numerous mobile web wrappers as apps) alone resolved most of the problems I was having with battery life. The argument for apps over mobile web only works when the app respects

JPN Sega 16-bit collector here; the Teradrive was an interesting piece of kit, but I've always been floored by just how many variants of the core system there were: from the beautiful Wondermega RG-M1 to the Laseractive, to a Megadrive

Depends on who you're asking and from what timeframe you're asking about. They used to be absolutely horrid in the age of alternate and meta-TLDs when the real rush to nab a domain was on. I can't speak about present times, h

Depends on how brave you are, really. While a lot of the development community will likely be tracking 2.0's development and working to release libraries not long after 2.0 releases...2.0 is effectively a 1.0 release all over again, so

Got a FOUC (especially on the webfonts) the first couple of renders on the page; looks like the overloading of the META tags might be to blame. Otherwise, really good stuff here as someone rapidly picking up on React.
