There are many lunar orbits low enough and stable enough to be useful for crewed exploration. The HLS will be in one. That Gateway won’t be. It’s only the super low orbits that the masscons screw up.

Smart engineers chose Hydrogen as the first stage fuel fuel the Space Shuttle, and it turned out to be a terrible choice. H2 offered the highest ISP, ie energy per fuel mass, and originally they wanted the Shuttle to be a single stage to or

The Mac Pro Mx CPUs illustrate the promise of ARM and Apple Silicon. When the Firestorm core is one of the fastest available but uses less than 5 watts, Apple can use a ton of them at once without massive heat and power usage. The top end M

Even if it’s only a hundred thousand years, we can set up a magnetic field in Mars orbit that would substantially reduce losses far easier than actually making the new atmosphere.

Nothing will be grown outside on Mars for hundreds of years. Even with an active terraforming operation, they will need some kind of dome enclosures to provide enough air pressure to grow plants for centuries. Until then, just rinse off yo
