I've never had the issue of mistaking a Unicode character with a ligature, specially when using Mono fonts: a ligature will be 2+ characters width while a single Unicode character will only take 1.

Signals are a step in the wrong direction. They provide extremely little value over RxJS Observables (ex. avoids glitches when you have diamond-shaped dependencies), but you sacrifice so much in return, like control over async operations. T

Are you interested in non US/Canada candidates who are available during US East Coast working hours?

Just wondering, is there any legal reason why you only accept US based candidates if the position is fully remote?

Still the best choice in my opinion. Batteries included for pretty much anything and RxJS is a delight. I really never have to think about state management issues. My only concern are signals. They seem like worse Observables just for the s

I'm well aware of most payment options, I even have the Payoneer card. As I mentioned in other comments, I suggest that you look up how those services actually work for Argentinians and why they are not enough. Crypto is the best solut

Look up the current situation in Argentina, in depth and using local sources (not some random US newspaper) like r/argentina and r/merval.

You don't know enough then. If I were to use Wise I would be getting half salary due to my country "regulations", not even mentioning that I wouldn't be getting dollars or the fact that it would be nearly impossible due

Without crypto I wouldn't be able to work as a software engineer for international companies (unless I were to work for free). Maybe you should dig a bit deeper before making such comments

Except I cannot give cash to someone who is not in front of me, while I can send crypto to anyone in the world. You don't need intermediaries to transact in crypto, that's the whole point

I'm supper bullish on Apple on this one. If a company can figure out how to properly do AR is Apple. We might be approaching the next revolution on personal computing after the iPhone.

I suggest trying to build an app using Angular and just observables to handle all state + interactions. In my experience, it's the best way to build an UI where "many things "inter-depend on each other". It's on a w

AFAIK, Nix does not work natively on Windows (you need to go through WSL), so it's not better in that regard.
