I get what the author is getting at. But this particular example doesn't really help with the conclusion. The solution is still about locks, just that the 2 locks are now linked together.

I've always wondered, how does this compare to a dedicated hardware router (some kind of ASIC maybe. I'm not sure if what routers on the market use), in terms of performance. E.g. if the router is connected to 200 clients and they

Personally, the first book is my favorite out of the 3. I think if you know a bit of the history of the Cultural Revolution, you'd enjoy it more. The way he combined the plot with that part of the Chinese history is amazing.

If you want to get a taste of Jorge Luis Borges, I strongly recommend the short story, The Garden of Forking Paths. Especially if you like twist at the end.

Well, you mentioned you "feel incredibly cynical about longevity tech", which seems to suggest that you feel differently on this particular type of research compared to others.

May I ask, why you don't feel the same way for any other medical research that saves lives? What's so different about curing aging?

What do people think about the career trajectory as an individual contributor in an early stage startup? I'm the kind of person who not only enjoys coding, but hates dealing with management, hiring, meetings, etc. I always fear that I

Yes. I remember in the 90s when I was in kindergarten, a 1-hour afternoon nap is "mandatory". I hated it.

This makes sense. However, this also means as one party of the off-chain transaction, I need to constantly monitor the main chain to make sure the other party doesn't try to screw me up. And if they do I need to publish the contract be

Forget python development, why is it so damn hard to USE python scripts in a version-correct way in the first place? I have python scripts in my system which rely on different python versions. And since I have a default python version, 2.7

How does the amount you take compare to the total amount of stem cells I have in my body? Does the process have any negative effect on my short term and long term health?

I feel like I have very bad "mid-term" memory. I have no problem reading long sentences, and my long-term memory is just fine. But I feel like my brain just forgets things too soon. If I were to speak in front of people about 3 th
