My guess is German labor laws do not allow hustling. Progress will be slow if everyone kinda just coast on cruise control.

Impact in this case, is non-existent (Wow they got my email) > I'd like to understand better what you mean by that. Recall there was a period where every CPU sidechannel attack had a dedicated (wow) website and a rock band name assi

Enforcement is very inconsistent that’s for sure. The system is as secure as the least secure airport.

Maybe iCloud search is rubbish. Mail search works flawlessly for me with Gmail and Outlook. It takes a sec but the results are always relevant.

Have you checked if it’s the fault of your mail providers? The search function queries the remote mail servers in addition to the local cache. If the mail servers return garbage you get garbage results.

The article lists very obvious functional regressions (that I use everyday), I would not have missed them.

I didn’t even know this is an issue. It’s written right there, “Change Payment Method”.

But the bugs never existed in the first place? I hate HN is rife with inflammatory complain pieces like this.

iOS user here of a few years, never hit any of the bugs in this article. Maybe Apple didn’t fix them because the bugs never existed in the first place.

Makes sense. But I’d argue NAT is still more secure because it physically breaks the connection between your internal host and the outside world. Without an existing routing table there’s no destination to route the packet to.

On iOS there’s an app literally called “Aurora”. It will notify you when you’re in an area with a high Kp (or above a Kp you specify).

You should not look at the button in isolation. The library is likely used to do other things vanilla HTML cannot do, but instead of maintaining multiple code, they just use the library to implement everything. The library has in essence be

There’s already a schema.org spec that defines a JSON-LD structured data that you can embed on every of your product page to provide a machine readable interface of your product. For example, Google’s indexers already use this to surface p
