The way I had understood it was that the author arrived at these problems by incrementally modifying complicated integral formulas just up to the point where Mathematica couldn't solve them, and then used the solution from Mathematica

For an open-source robot design the website seems quite light on the hardware details. All I was able to find from the link were the robots' physical dimensions in Imperial (?) units. There seems to be a github repository for the robot

re: common lisp shines at low-level tasks like microcontroller programming While I couldn't find an explicit declaration of this in the linked article, the tunnel system likely has something on the level of an SBC (think raspberry pi)

I am frequently disappointed with the results I obtain from search engines, but in some of these cases I can find the things I'm looking for by tweaking the advanced search settings. On the other hand every time I've used language

I'm not claiming to be the majority here, but I first learned about Yoko Ono and her work from a Fluxus artists' catalogue and much later found out that she was married to someone famous.

This can be taken as an instance of the Shifting Baseline phenomenon [1]. The fact that we can only perceive certain changes over large timescales doesn't mean we can safely ignore them. It's harmful to ignore experienced perspect

Redefining 'def' is a trick used in Tcl to make "safe" configuration languages exposed to the end user. You define all of your configuration options as functions and then undefine everything else (including "proc&qu

I would argue that kobold.cpp is even easier to use than Ollama. You click on the link in the README to download an .exe and doubleclick it and select your model file. No command line involved. Which part of the user experience did you have

I think most people buying RPis for the GPIO would be better served by a small microcontroller devboard like the Arduino Uno acting as the intermediary between the computer and the wires. This way if anything goes wrong (overvoltage, short)
