Depending on how they define "winner at programming contests", this might narrow down the population to just a handful of "sport programmers". The same handful of guys win all the contests. The statement might as well

Market cap arguments lost me a lot of money. I wonder if there's just some flaw with this line of reasoning or I'm just unlucky and the market is too bubbly/irrational right now. For example another weird stock is Snowflake,

Is that a direct application of the paper or something else? (sorry I didn't read it) Just wondering because this rule of thumb sounds intuitively wrong to me. Depending on the difficulty of the bugs and the skill levels of the experts

I also needed something similar but instead of a lack of libraries, I actually remember seeing an overwhelming amount of choices. There are 200+ libraries with the word gantt in it: https://www.npmjs.com/search?q=gantt&r

Is it possible that the projections themselves affected the outcome? If people saw that they had a comfortable lead, they wouldn't be as motivated to turnout. Then the polling results might ironically be more accurate if people believe

I always wanted to use pouchdb as a self-hosted firebase for small projects but I have trouble reasoning about the cost. How much load can a cheap VPS handle in terms of concurrent live syncing users?

Youtube's content moderation team also has a terrible track record. One of my favorite science channels, Cody's Lab, gets banned all the time because he has educational videos on making explosives. The guy is so family friendly he

No they are saying it's more efficiently that lru_cache with a finite maxsize. Implementation-wise it's identical to using maxsize=None. See source: https://github.com/python/cpython/blob/3.9/Li

Finger trees (and other BSTs) are probably too slow for problems meant to be solved by segment trees. The problem is that in competitive programming you receive your entire input at the beginning. So you never need to "rebalance"
