Yes, this feels very familiar. I find myself energized, outgoing, dynamic, etc around strangers, and then reliving the conversations over and over in my head days later when the energy is gone. I've got one or two great friends who I f

What has only lasted one month? My late acting town has been "safer at home" since late march. Bay area was earlier, and the things were not normal for many weeks before government orders came out.

I think the conversations here are more valuable than the comic itself, which is, uh, not really a joke. Some shitty drawings and half an idea, like many xkcd comics. But the comments here have pointed me to some cool stuff, so...

The scene that sticks in my mind the most is the neo vs. smiths staff fight scene. Appears to referred to as the burly brawl on youtube. But, when I saw it I thought it looked bad, and I haven't watched the movie since release. So it&#

Yeah, sounds like that would work. Wired definitely should do that for her. The implementation of this google search feature also seems to be astonishingly stupid.

I have heard that LSD can cause stomach cramping with people who already are prone to stomach issues/IBS/etc. Not something I've personally experienced.

This one of those effective outside the human body tests that have a long way to go. We shall see. But I mainly commented to say that it worked well on my scabies years ago. Good for keeping your guinea pigs parasite free too.

Significant tax dollars were spent by local municipalities. But that money was for infrastructure, not paid to the company or something. Mainly Mount Pleasant. In the state, it is popular to think of foxconn as scammers, but I don't th

Unfortunately the wayback machine didn't cache the CDC's page on guidelines until recently, but an article in US based Vox from February says: https://www.vox.com/recode/2020/2/13/21128209/

Kinda dumb point, since a healthcare worker is the one who gave me my single surgical mask in the first place. They don't want you to "donate" back a single used mask that your doctor gave you in the first place.

Yes, I believe the deployment of Sarin by the cultists was botched. While they had 5L they used it incorrectly. I can't remember where but I think I read something like 100x the deaths if properly distributed.
