Just reading the article and remembering my last hospital visit gives me a headache. I got better treatment in Tunisia than at an American hospital in a wealthy area. What an embarrassment for us being the only developed country without uni

Now its on Tiktok, before it was on Instagram, before that Twitter, and so on. Is this really news? There’s far more interesting scamming communities on the clearweb than the kids selling shitty methods on Tiktok for $20.

I played competitive FPS games for years at high ranks with a Bluetooth headset before learning of the delay. I did not notice. However, for a while I switched to a Bluetooth keyboard and until I realized the input delay was severely impact

Ponzis can be very profitable. I think algorithmic stablecoins are stupid too.

Pretty much all under the table crypto transactions are in Monero, Zcash, or other privacy coins. Bitcoin’s utility is horrible compared to most other cryptos, its purely a store of value.

AFAIK, Tether will not convert to USD for you unless you register and have >100k Tether. Therefore, most holders only ability to “cashout” is on exchanges. Obviously, this is problematic.

That explanation is not correct. Algorithmic stablecoins rely on a pairing with another crypto, in UST’s case LUNA. 1 UST can always be swapped to $1 US dollar of LUNA. It is interchangable, so $1 US dollar’s worth of LUNA can also be swap

Bari Weiss doesn’t seem to know basic economics. Are all consumer goods perfectly competitive markets? No. Is demand for consumer goods highly inelastic? Yes. Does the author account for collusion? No. One can’t just say that consumers shou

I studied the atomic bombings extensively in college and it seemed abundantly clear that the decision to drop the bombs was barbaric and unnecessary. The question of whether or not the Japanese offered to surrender before is largely irrelev

I’m not fundamentally opposed to pigovian taxes, they are the best option in many cases. For climate change, definitely not the best option. I personally advocate for cap and trade.
