Hi, I'm a C# developer who has done some Java and C++ in the past. You may consider me in the box of people who thinks the constructor creates the object, and the object not existing until the constructor finishes. The allocation of me

Here's a link to a video [0](2009) where Joe Duffy talks about some features he's exploring adding to C#. Mostly, he describes a method of organizing code into distinct object graphs to make concurrency easier to reason about. [0]

It can be both crazy and human nature. I think it's our duty to intercept and correct our harmful natures. The tendency to group and label people -- based on surface-level stuff like where they live or what color is their skin -- quali

Actually you didn't have to log out or switch accounts. If a user blocked me, I could simply navigate to their page manually and view their tweets. It only prevented me from following them.

This post illustrates the folly of valuing form over function. Certainly we should strive to write code that is readable and robust. However, it's important to remember that before all else the code should actually work. The example us

You're conflating the ideas of right and wrong, of law, and of company policy. If something is against policy, that doesn't make it illegal. If something is illegal, that doesn't make it wrong.
