Sorry, OT, but this really makes me appreciate the readability of bitmapped Monaco. I find it unfortunate that Mac OS X has such crappy support for bitmapped fonts in general...

I think I started using Emacs around the same time as you, so I wouldn't blame anyone for thinking that XEmacs is now effectively dead. Let me point to a rather illuminating article about the state of XEmacs (circa two years ago): http://s

Am I correct in assuming that any language with support for overloading functions for new types, instead of extending existing types with new members/methods, would have a solution to such issues? This would then also cover: * anything CLOS

You could say the same for the comments right here. It's not often you see comment sections with that dynamic. One is prompted to respond with something that will essentially relegate them to the bottom of the page. You may choose to suppor

Most of the games which left me a great impression were of a now-dwindling genre (adventure games). I personally hold The Longest Journey ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Longest_Journey ) as its apex.

Don't you mean forall f g xs. map f (map g xs) = map (f.g) xs ? As for filter, I presume something like forall f g xs. filter f (filter g xs) = filter (\x. g x && f x) xs would work.

Wow, the comments here are overwhelmingly negative. Keep in mind that this is from pouet.net, a site dedicated to Amiga-style demos. Of course this demo is irrelevant to modern web design. It's a technical feat more than anything.
