> You can do the same with ctrl+v, just use paste_from_clipboard Yeah, but CTRL+V is actually used e.g. in VIM. And I can't see a way for ghostty to "guess" what to do based on context like it does in the case something is

The article's title is somewhat misleading: the bulk of the text is about various human attempts at water-based geo-engineering and environmental control through recent history.

The financial penalty is peanuts for AAPL. More interesting would be if they'd be forced to allow other app stores.

Largest has 128G RAM and not clear if the GPU can access all of it. So, looks like none of them can run an .5T LLM locally. Pass.

Yeah, wondering the same thing. And there quite a lot of other statements in the paper presented as "obvious" that are IMO everything but.

See my other comment in the thread. In my experience, folks who dabble in crypto and even seasoned users always underestimate how hard and tricky of a problem proper self-custody actually is. And when they do think about it, it's alway

Which just goes to show that custody is a hard and almost always under-estimated problem.

As is usual for NVidia: great hardware, an effing nightmare figuring out how to setup the pile of crap they call software.

Let me translate this to software engineering: "I never understood why people have such a problem with Windoze". The answer to your question in the context of CAD modeling: Fusion is closed-source. Their model files are closed-sou

If you like to code, OpenSCAD is really the best for simple shapes and my go-to tool for these situations, stuff like making a project box for an electronic contraption. OpenSCAD however fails spectacularly for any kind of complex filetting

Yeah, the whole billing death march is what ended up making me pick OpenAI as my main worhorse instead of GOOG. Not enough brain cycles to figure out a way to give Google money, whereas the OpenAI subscription was basically a no-brainer.
