Not to say Google is in the right but Google seems to be pitted against the entire industry constantly.

It's a shame that Gemini doesn't seem to have as much hype as GPT, I hope they gain more market share.

I agree that it is doing a LOT of work, but I believe OP and many others will compare it to other languages and notice that the Rust compiler is a LOT slower.

Surprised to see that no one commented out that this post gives heavy generated by AI vibes, for instance, there are so many - dashes.

There's a law (forgot the name but search online) that says your business or whatever is as powerful as the number of users squared (paraphrasing). Basically each new user is not just 1 but the size of the network! So scale.

HN should really have support for this. Even a simple Boolean tab that says whether you have a reply or not (on ANY comment) would be super useful.

I'm surprised they have over 300 million users. I've never met a single (non online) person who uses it.

Out of curiosity, what courses, books, websites etc did you give to your son to learn JavaScript? I have a similarly aged child and I haven't found anything they like so far.

Curious if this is true for dice, whenever me and my family play monopoly, my dad likes to look at the dice (as he's shaking it) and he usually gets a high number if he can see a low one and vice versa.

+1 Furthermore, the posts are extremely unfunny, I wouldn't mind them if they were at least somewhat interesting.
