Thanks for the tips! I'll keep that in mind and do 24-bit 96Khz wav. I think converting digital to digital, i.e. WAV to FLAC or mp3/aac will be straight forward, but given that I may not have that many records to convert, I'l

Agreed. I've now realized some of these old records are just not salvageable. So many scratches :(

Modern ones are reliable. However, I only went with an older "vintage" one as it came up on Kjiji for a good price, and I could resell it once I was done. I don't plan on listening to Vinyl forever. We are now so used to digi

I thought about that, but I didn't want to fiddle too much with various tweaks as I'm not an expert in this area. In fact, I'm actually thinking of buying a Tascam DR-05X, https://tascam.com/us/product&#x

I have Vinyl records, but my goal is to digitize them. They're my Dads from 1940s, 50s, and many are 78s, so I had so search Kijiji ads to get a player that plays that speed. Dual 1009 was what I settled on. As for DVDs/Blu Ray, I

I was just searching for a contact form last spring and was researching this area. My Wordpress site is for a non-profit, and I am volunteer, but they were willing to give some cash for it. In the end, I went with Contact7, a free Wordpress

M1 Air 16G 1TB (Bought on Nov 2020 - 1y 10 months old) I think I'm second on this page with "unsafe shutdowns" with 62. It's used by 4 people, 2 adults, 2 kids and heavily used pretty much all day and night. Lots of web,

Never heard of Signal GH! Thanks! I have my antenna split to my TV, and look at signal strength there, and I run TVHeadend, with HDhomerun as my source, on my Synology NAS (used to run it on my Raspberry Pi), and it provides stats and signa

C'mon! Everybody knows that the Nordost Valhalla 2 Power Cord is far superior than the SRX. It's also only $10,079.99 CAD for 6ft, so it will be less than yours since yours is in USD, saving you money to to buy fridge magnets whic

I think your comment hits the mark. People now listen to their music off their phones (headphone or bluetooth speakers), or on the go in their car. Nobody sits down to a desktop to listen to music. Don't forget about bluetooth speakers
