They're good lessons, so why insult it? Why mock quality storytelling that makes good impressions on people?

My first build was an AMD "Venice" 3000+. Stock 2.8 GHz, I think I got it to 3.4 GHz with a DFI LANParty! motherboard and 512MB of DDR-600. Second CPU was a Pentium D, the first Intel generation of dual-core. Stock 2.66 GHz, I got

I do know several, including my dad, who when talking to him about life, love, poetry or movies is a nice guy, and doesn't wish harm on the people he meets. But he lacks empathy for groups of people he's never interacted with, and

I think the above person is correct, and you are on the right track. I'm not hopeful for a full Constitutional Convention, but every possible effort by any means must be made to put into law every "unwritten norm" that the Tr

I recommend this short piece, "The Missing Mood"[0]. It describes the concept that the motive and behavior of someone as it relates to a proposed set of actions is important. e.g. Someone proposing war might be correct, but one ho

edit to say: Apparently GrapheneOS has an image backup feature, which I will investigate shortly. So perhaps what you're asking for exists!

I agree. Here's my method. I have my passwords on proton pass with 2fa. I back my pics to private cloud storage. I keep 2fa backup codes in my wallet. Wiping the phone on a whim is a minor inconvenience. Full image restoration would be

That's what I want from my e-reader device too. Yet being able to turn a $140 e-ink tablet into a general purpose tool is really neat.

It will be interesting if or when someone tries to enforce that perspective. Good luck proving an online contributor used AI on a merge request. Perhaps we'll have new iterations of FOSS licenses to adjust to legal declarations.

Maybe it's distro packaging, but I suspect it's the kernel, too: In the 20 years I have dipped my toes into Linux, there is no better time to be a desktop user than today. With CachyOS and modern kernel, I have zero audio issues,

Is it part of the joke that the site is intentionally over-pixelated while the author critiques readability? (edit: I don't mind esoteric design and I play old games. I found it funny to see a blog with aesthetics that are not optimize

Running their sandboxed Play, I can run everything. The only thing I notice in the US is some banking apps (stupidly, idiotically, moronically) force 2FA on every login instead of trusting biometric entirely like they do on stock OS.

Since we're speculating here, I hope whatever phone you have allows you to lock the bootloader (My oneplus doesn't after installing LineageOS). And certainly NSA has no way of infiltrating AOSP or less hardened chipsets.

In that case I would support promoting 20+ mph e-bikes as e-scooters, make them easy to get, cheap/free to license and call it a day. "Bikes" with 20-30mph speed are awesome, much healthier than gas vespas, and much cheaper a
