Seems performatively nasty to require vax for online; there are probably ~10% of any population with genuine medical reasons not to take a vaccine. I enjoyed dystopias until covid, Gattaca was definitely one of the best.

Notes with a pen, on paper, very, very brief notes, graphical scribbles are good. If you think it's boring ... it will be. Time before to get your head into the meeting. Are you able to pre-visit the space? Do you get to choose a seat?

The only voices saying this in NZ are the National Party, right wingers with connections to bad parts of the mining industry. At the scale this would be done at it threatens the ocean system and all life, the noise footprint alone would be

Important, should be widely published, many are saying these things on the street. Looks likely to become several independent countries, one of them probably a corrupt theocracy, some others patriarchal, others (or mineral) oil-ocracies. Wi

Design industrial landscapes as I'm good at it, the only task I've found makes life make sense, allows me to work (mostly) alone. I need to make $ to live, and repairing Earth seems a constructive lifeway. Currently learning to sc

I'm Nigel an NZ Industrial and agricultural landscape architect and ecologist. I came to HN to learn more about CLI, perl and text manipulation and found some interesting people and sub-communities outside of tech.

Looking from NZ you look like you're on a theocratic fascist heading. Ballot box seems to have failed, protest becoming illegal, country becoming intellectual backwater (libs seem to hate all science and arts). No Australians I know wa

I'm in NZ but would gladly take a train (no passenger rail on my island), time spent driving is time I usually can't charge for (eg general sales), and even where I can it's still hours that I can't design. It'd be

Australia is consciously weaponing covid, everything now is performative inhumanity. Country becoming a Pentecostal theocracy (Dominionists aka christo-fascists), I genuinely fear for my neighboring country.

My Twitter profile has the CO2 ppm when I was born; 319, it's now ~415, that's nearly 25%∆ in 58 yrs. You can't seriously believe a significant component of Earth atmosphere can change by that without effect. At this point al

A, a week ago NZ got the first Delta, today we have 107, stats people think cases are peaking. We have a hard, near total lockdown as no one want this loose, it would kill 10000 plus.
