If I understand the comment right, the solution is to first use pattern-inside to mark that you're interested in all try-except blocks, and then pattern-not-inside to remove the ones that correctly reraise the exception. Could you chec

Shameless plug of Semgrep, a project I'm working on: I just wrote this Semgrep rule in 45 seconds which replicates the TC201 rule from tryceratops: https://semgrep.dev/s/underyx:tc201 Writing this rule was definit

Would I be found guilty if I could prove that I didn’t explicitly copy that code but rather just happened to write the same code by arriving at the same solution as the original one I had seen years before?

I didn’t miss that, this still doesn’t make the answer obvious to me. I’m pretty sure I’ve unknowningly replicated licensed code as well during my time as an engineer, and I’ve written way less code over my 8 years than Copilot has.

OP’s rhetoric, and most discussion I see, asserts that training a model on copyrighted data is a copyright violation. Personally I don’t find this to be so obviously the case. Think back to when we were listening to AI generated pop music,

Oh, sorry, I worded that comment confusingly. The list is not sorted at all yet. My intention was to later (this weekend?) get the numbers for visa type popularity and display them next to the type (as well a description of the visa in huma

The first sentence the controller said explains why the pilot wasn't supposed to land at the Vilnius airport. I want to avoid quoting the line for fear of my account being flagged in government systems.

This sounds wonderful to me. 20% of would-be buyers were saved from mindlessly consuming and paying for stuff they don't need — by just a tiny little UI friction. Imagine what a mandatory essay about the reason for your purchase would

Hey, I work on Semgrep. As a real world example, I just noticed today that Hashicorp uses a whole bunch of Semgrep rules on terraform-provider-aws[0]. I'd recommend reading the `message` keys to know what they intend to match, and then
