Does anyone know what law governs ISAs? Like why would a Lambda school be able to forcibly collect income if a student tried to vanish without paying if they found a job?

Living in a country where you have no choice but to earn in a local currency with runaway inflation is objectively shittier.

Opendoor also has pretty negative reviews from everything I can find online. Would guess tech is hardly a component to this business - likely just some basic pricing models. Seems like the basic playbook is to lowball desperate homeowners,

Cities change...it’s the longing for days past that created the housing crisis in SF in the name of preservation. I’m not familiar with the exact building restrictions in West Village but I assume there’s strict height restrictions that hav

I recently learned from a recruiter that one license for one recruiter for LinkedIn is $10k a year, so that is what they are protecting.

It’s a “friendly authoritarian” surveillance state. It’s great if you obey the rules, but you sound like you lean toward libertarianism...Singapore is the complete opposite.

In SF sugary drinks are taxed extra. There are signs that demand for sugary drinks are on the decline naturally e.g. demand for sparking water has increased as people look for alternatives to drinking a coke. And there was a recent article

This actually makes this announcement even worse. A $250k budget is an utter joke, so it begs the question if this was all done as a troll move toward the entire startup ecosystem in SF to get everyone riled up.

I’m not a gamer, but I imagine most are smart enough to see through this cringe-y PR disaster. Late Friday night dump of nonsense corporate speak is painfully predictable. This will do more harm than good. Yikes.
