I recall something similar to this recently on HN, http://www.zerodb.io/ . Are they using homomorphic encryption here? Would homomorphic encryption make it possible for cloud hosting to run a website without knowing the code

For me, Redis was the first software written in C which I could easily customize with additional features (as I have low C knowledge). It was written beautifully. I've been learning Rust, I certainly find learning Rust easier than C an

I know you're not seriously looking for an answer but meh... I've actually created a service (B2B) which requires bitcoin as I need atomicity, which bitcoin delivers perfectly (as long as I wait for N confirmations, it's pret

LetsEncrypt works with IPv4. I assume it will work with IPv6. LetsEncrypt is a Mozilla project, it's safe to assume they will launch LetsEncrypt before deprecating non-secure websites.

That's correct but that doesn't invalidate chimeracoder's point. His/her point was to disable the ability to use WebRTC with Javascript served from an unencrypted website. Currently, https://github.com/di

Thanks for the interesting post. Where did you buy the Seagate ST6000DX000 from and for how much? In terms of cost, does the storage pod beat archive.org's petabox?

The website in itself is not illegal, even in the US. However, the copyright cartel have strong influence and pressure hosting providers to ban you. The Netherlands is okay for some websites (file hosting) but bad for other similar sites (f

It's just as easy, it's a small snippet of code you paste at the bottom of your site. However, the site doesn't have a pretty design like Google but that's why I prefer it - it's simple and works with NoScript.
