I'd hope so. I love the ocean of high-quality content available to the world now, but too many people are content to jump out and drown in it. Solutions are required.

I see nothing wrong with that. More tools means more art means more fun.

We get it. It looks cool and somewhat life-like. Now can you please show us something that's designed to evoke a response other than cooing in delight of your wonderful technical achievements? We live in a world where people know nothing

I'm confused, then; what do you mean autopost as a group? Does that mean letting multiple people submit content, which is then posted to a single Twitter feed?

I don't like the term professional. I hope never to use it. I've learned enough to realize that even when I'm capable of turning out impressive work, it's without my knowing everything I can possibly know. (I'm also astounded when I finish

No it doesn't. Tumblr already supports posting to Twitter and to Facebook. What else was there? Putting group names on a blog? Tumblr's had that for years. Posterous had a lightning start, then fell on its ass; Tumblr adopted its best featu

Let me cast my vote for Shaun Inman, whose two web apps are brilliantly designed and brilliantly functional. His homepage is pretty dandy, too: http://shauninman.com

The Metalab people were involved in a dispute with one of the Tumblr designers on IRC the one time I entered the Tumblr IRC, so I've got a bias that comes from that designer ranting at them for an underhanded design, but I find that I reall

I visit Urban Airship and my first instinct is to hate how little padding there is between your iPhone image and the image right below it, which strikes me as overlarge.

Panic is part of a swelling trend of small companies that are really among the cutting edge of business. Very freeform, very openended, very dedicated to their products. They might be my favorite example because each of the people there (Ca

"The paintings made between 1430 and 1500 are still unsurpassed." Art has progressed so much in the last 500 years that this comparison is utterly absurd. Francis Bacon comes to mind as a painter whose works simply cannot be compared to ear
