I've lived in highly walkable, pro-transit areas. It does have benefits, don't get me wrong. The flip side of the coin is that those areas usually have high population density. That comes with a lot of its own cons - noise polluti

This app works great. Used it to reduce my and my wife's email from 90%+ capacity back down to 20% which should be good for at least 5 years.

How do you get into your accounts if you are on vacation and you lose the copy of your pwd vault?
710.
by umvi 4y ago
I disagree. I use a vaultless password manager and I have the metadata for my most common accounts (Google, Amazon, etc) memorized so I am not completely dependent on the metadata file. The vaultless password manager can easily be downloade

The biggest problem with password managers is that you become completely dependent on them (and therefore completely helpless without them) once you start using them. This scenario still allows you to remain decoupled from that dependency.

Right but that metadata (like password rules) is pretty much public information so it doesn't matter if an attacker gets it so it doesn't have to be as secure as a "vault".

719.
by umvi 4y ago
Can SQLite be used outside of single threaded contexts? Last I checked having multiple concurrent readers and writers is very difficult. Multiple concurrent readers only is probably ok if that's all you need.
