A little off topic: The video is almost pointless. You cant clearly see the screen because of the horrible reflection. Maybe a video of the app on the mac in the ipad simulator would be better.

Bestbuy is very hit-or-miss. It really depends on the people working there. Some employees are very informative and helpful while many aren't.

Considering the price you pay shows that you're interested and willing to invest serious time into it, I'd imagine that the next version of this will cost more as well. If v1 is $1500, I can see v2 being $2500

As I look at the pricing wars, I realized something: If you choose to use "cloud" based in your projects or businesses, you will never know the long-term costs associated with operating in the cloud. The cloud provider can raise o

I don't know the details of your app, but I have a feeling that there are many places where you can optimize it. You can't just take a desktop app and stick it on the phone. It will perform poorly. But you have to design mobile (w

Not true. Driving a car with bluetooth, I now see how wonderful and useful this feature is. I don't have to take my eyes off the road and I don't have to hold anything to my ear. Its very very seamless. If you can't talk whil

By the time batteries become mainstream, the subsidies for EVs will probably disappear as well.

Because electric cars tend to be high performance as a side-effect of the tech used. Personally, I am more interested in the car because of the gas savings. I won't buy the Tesla S to test it on the nurburgring.

I believe the author merged the responsibilities of a "programmer" with an "Technical architect". To become a good programmer, all you need to do is enjoy reading books, enjoy coding, and work at a moderately sized compa

This is probably the most important point: Young programmers, due to lack of experience, sometimes don’t see that writing code is only a small part in producing software.

Is it reasonable to buy a Model S now hoping that within 6-7 years you can swap out the "old" tech batteries for newer / better / faster / higher capacity battery packs which will be introduced in 5-7 years? If so,

You should be able to download the latest version of the app that is supported by your version of iOS. But, the ipad 1 is already 4 years old. That is pretty old when you consider how quickly the market moves.

Each one of us has the power to do something about it: Perform a Backup. We should be downloading our mailbox with our contacts on a regular basis. I'm guilty for not doing this, but seems like an area that can use a SaaS.

Isn't it worth it to purchase the Applecare warranty for $250 which extends the warranty period to 3 years? When you're spending $3k on a computer, I don't see how $250 will really affect the bottom line...

Why would you use salary to determine if someone is a big spender or not? Look at their car / home and see if it's worth the risk.

Why should it be a red flag? Statistically speaking, you're more likely to make more money by getting a bigger salary now instead of a big payday that may never happen. Statistically, very very few companies will be large enough for em
