Agreed! It will take time (at least 2 years) to determine what it should do and the direction that it will head.

I dont think you looked hard enough. :) The late 90s to about 2004 most good domains were being registered. Now we have to settle for foreign TLDs.

Why declare to the world your next phone? Buy whatever makes you happy and use whatever you like using. These discussions go nowhere quickly. IMO, you will be switching back to apple.

Let's talk about privacy: Does it exist? Is this something to worry about?

If you don't need email notifications, then it's not a problem. One nice feature from gmail/yahoo/outlook/etc.: temporary email addresses that forward to your email. This would solve the problem. Or, maybe alternative notification methods a

So, if after one year, they introduce a new car (technically better) and you wanted to upgrade to that newer car, how much would that cost? Let's say that car is given to you as a loaner and you had 8k miles on your car. Is the value of you

You may have electrical problems (or any number of other problems) that may effect your judgement of CFLs. I was just saying: An "instant" on and off light will affect your vision differently than one that (for example) dims slowly for a fe

You're paying for the brand, that's true, but not $25k of that is the brand. You have to consider the materials, manufacturing process of individual pieces, labor, marketing expenses, service, etc. Generally: Companies try to give you the b

I would consider a mid-range lexus as a regular luxury car. There are extremes (anything over $120k: Bentley, Maybach, etc.) but those are out of the reach of the masses. My point is this: If a Tesla would be a petrol-powered vehicle, how m

This made me curious too... What is the cost breakdown of a Tesla car? What part(s) do we need to improve to lower the price to that of a regular luxury car?

Agreed. You can be penny-wise but dollar-stupid. Many times, these "bargains" you scour the internet for usually cost more in the end. For the few times it doesn't, oh well.

In my opinion, when a company does this to you, you should leave. Immediately. This is a problem and we need to look for solutions. Why should I continue to support a company that doesn't care? Wouldn't you rather pay a little more and have

Home Depot has CFTs on sale for less than $3 for a pack of 4. A few months ago, they had a sale: 4 bulbs for $1 :D Needless to day, I bought a box full of them.

This isn't accurate. The infrastructure is setup once they started billing people. I think the support side is what will eat at the profits... a million $20/month users can be very demanding until they figure out what they're doing.

You're assuming that everyone that enters the states received a visa. This is very far from the current state of affairs. Although I don't know exactly how the author came into the country, there are countless ways to sneak in.

I think it's because their iphone 4S was so good that most people weren't willing to "upgrade". It's getting hard to justify buying a new phone every year considering the great advancements made to them in the past few years.
