Funny, because it doesn't sound good to me really. I prefer more of a rumble (like that from my Subaru's flat boxer engine) than a drone sound like the Ferraris.

I know very little about hypoglycemia (though I’m naturally prone to sugar lows rather than highs) and your problem is likely more complex than diet. That said, wouldn’t it be better to be doing the opposite of what you’re being told, and c

Wait the ratio is only 2:1? From the original article and your first sentence I was expecting Xbox to be on the verge of a death spiral, not getting as much as 50% of PS5 sales.

Given inference costs and ability to run on devices, there's an argument to be made for training models that are smaller than Chinchilla-optimal though, especially if you can still eek out improved performance with longer training time

Yeah funnily enough I think "no GC" would be a much better feature in Julia, which would make it a great language for real time applications.

GP claimed the decline was in absolute terms, not just percentage of population. On that note though, WW2 killed 3% of the world population in the span of 6 years.

Spotify compresses it anyway but for digital audio you'd want to encode in 48 kHZ/24 bit whereas CD only supports 44.1 kHZ/16 bit. Anyone who can hear the difference would be an exceptional listener with an exceptional sound

I don't get it. You understand the tactile appeal, retro-ness, and listening intentionality of vinyl, but you don't understand interest in cassettes?

Not really analogous. No matter how much you tune the GTI's ECU, throttle curve, ESC, etc., you won't be able to precisely replicate the handling of the classic car, though you might get close. By contrast, one can digitally captu

Not "probably". The government is the ultimate backer of the FDIC and would be obligated to step in if FDIC were somehow unable to cover its obligations.

No, that has not happened in 15 years. Every bankruptcy since IndyMac has ended with depositors being made whole. The precedent is a lot older than the recent bank failures.
