China has created "exclusive economic zones" like Hong Kong and Shenzhen that are more free than the United States. Mainland China may be a shithole, but at least they have places where capitalism can thrive, better that even the

The further power moves away from people, the less people can actually do to change things. What's the point of being outraged at the things you can't control. If the government continues to abuse people's rights, whats the p

Ethereum's biggest problem, is that it has way too many moving parts, leaving too many points of failure. Even Bitcoin has a lot of moving parts, but Ethereum is a circus in comparison.

You're grasping for ways to punish this guy because you don't like him. The fact is, he made a mistake and wanted to pay back the people he made a mistake with.

You would have to maintain that all package names are unique. The "cross-env" part would have to still be unique.

Jesus, not this bullshit again. It's not vaporware IF YOU CAN USE IT ALREADY. It's already available for you to use on Litecoin. Lightning works, it just needs the services to become user friendly now.

Ethereum's biggest failure is its name. It sounds like a kid came up with it for a syfy video game. How can an investor or new user take it seriously? "Send me some Ethereum honey, I'm going to the grocery store". Nope.

So far, there hasn't been any killer use case for ethereum yet. Everything it does, can be done more efficiently outside of the ethereum network. Some say that its "decentralized" on ethereum though, but this isn't true,

To put it into perspective, the USD has an inflation rate of 2% a year, according to the feds target.

Here are the negatives of Ethereum: 1) Inflation rate is HIGH, 15% a year right now and it has no cap on the number of coins that can be created. 2) Ethereum's blockchain takes up A LOT of space. Over 1GB is added every month.

Downside is that Ethereum doesn't have a cap on number of coins, which means it has high inflation (20% a year right now). Also, Ethereum uses A LOT of disk space, over 1GB is added every month.

Unions originated as a way to commoditise labor. It has since grown into a way to keep out freelance competitors, and to force employers into doing things (both of which I don't agree with). In terms of commoditsing labor, tech is a ve

Haven't you heard? It's now a popular trend, to claim that you do things differently just to be different, even though it doesn't make logical sense, and takes a lot of work. We call it the hipster hunger games.

Lightning network is the fix. It essentially makes bitcoin transactions lightning channels rather than recording every transaction that ever existed. Raising the block size won't solve anything, it will only make miners store more data
