I really like 2d approaches on knobs: turn to adjust heat, and press it to turn it on/off. My car stereo does this for volume and it's quite graceful to use. Analog controls with continuous domains really go well together

Oh come on. Sure, as I live in Middle East my rent might be 450$/month but after you consider that I'm paid 5$/hr, I'd gladly take 60k/yr (which is very low end) even if my rent and other expenses quintupled

Wow, this was much more comprehensive than I expected. Also, I really love it when people write "brainf*ck". It reminds me of the times we had substring based spam filters instead of bayesian or markovian ones.

On the other side of the spectrum, I would recommend Spivak's Physics for Mathematicians [1] strongly. I don't think anything else could come close for a mathematician who wants to learn physics. [] https://www.amazon.c

It'd be thrown out immediately anyway, due to having no legal basis (at least in the mainland European civil law systems)

Pretty neat. Is there some kind of "strategy guide" for mastermind-like games? I feel that I'm operating at close-to-brute-force levels (I spent 22 attempts at a 4-lock) and I'd love to get better

Considering the high frequency of Turkish films on the bottom list[1], it might be the case of a number of people with too much time on their hands rather than something more serious [1] http://www.imdb.com/chart/bottom

Ugh, I believed this too. Could you elaborate so that the misconceptions are cleared? (or give a link if the explanation would be too long)

Strategy games can also be GPU intensive if they implement neural nets instead of heuristical models

I think a more ethical way to go forward with this would be the haveibeenpwned way, where you can search your email and see where your stuff has been leaked instead of a searchable index of leaks.

quite cool! but even after deselecting all the options, I'm still being shown some tags (select, tr, th, td, dt, li). I think it's because they haven't been tagged with anything

I don't think this can be considered "pay what you want". There were some indie games I wanted to check out, but 30$ is a little too high for those.
