This is extremely surprising, right? I clicked the headline thinking it was a shame some tech company chose the same name as a fairly popular static site generator. I guess when I see things like $50/mo for them to host a site, I just

Wordpress is open source, but the plugins that people "null" and upload to a directory with write access usually aren't.

Ooh I hadn't heard of Flarum yet; I'm going to try that one out. As a user, Discourse forums have always felt bloated and slow. As a developer, I was shocked when I went to their installation documentation and saw it required 1 GB

Having the lights on and a few cars out front to let customers know this is a safe location is definitely important in a lot of businesses. This article seems to want to make a point about subscription cancellation instead, though.

Uber drivers aren't driving around picking up fares to take to an unknown destination. AirBnb renters don't have vacancy signs out front. There is a difference.

It's just one sentence mentioning it at the end of the article. Doesn't sound like they're launching a massive campaign.

Campaign Monitor's documentation has been the go-to solution for years. But I'm sure everybody working with email HTML already knows about it.

They have absolutely ruined this in the past few years. It was once very snappy, and tiled everything perfectly on the screen. Then they made it scroll. Then they added "Timelines". Then they added a zoom out animation that doesn&

Wow, I tried to add Google Ads to a web community I hand-built built in 2005 and had this exact same thing happen to me. They have my social security number, so ~15 years later I still can't use their platform. I never even float the i

I feel like the news and government response has been to very strongly err on the side of caution lately. The moment the path was updated to move to a direct hit of north Florida yesterday, grocery stores and gas stations were flooded with

I just hope it isn't half-assed and they don't give up. I've noticed the newer Burger King commercials say the meatless Whopper is only available for a limited time.

It's definitely Mac-centric. Mac in all the screenshots. Mac link in the menu has a blue border to make it stand out and the Windows one doesn't. Like you said, the bottom of the homepage is a link to download the Mac version. Rel

Resilio Sync is the torrent one you're thinking of and it is great. The killer feature for me is the IgnoreList file in the root of the shared folder, so you can tell it not to sync "node_modules" in your source code folder.

Hey, another site that was built on a Mac and not tested on anything else. So, Avenir Next is not a system font on Windows or Linux. On Windows, this means you get the browser's default stylesheet fallback, which means Times New Roman.
