Trump's tariffs forced a historic trade deal between Japan, China, and Korea, three countries that historically hate each other. If Trump managed to accidentally force Taiwan and China to settle their differences, it might be a sign of

You don't need to deliberately create silos in order to secure a project. We've had people working on top secret projects and while people may not have known the specifics the company was kept up to date on the progress and outcom

I want a tiny car. The problem is that road design is unsafe so people buy bigger cars so they are safer when they get into an accident. I've seen the aftermath of a Chrysler Fiat getting into a collision with an SUV and lets just say

I think research and the ability to summarize are important skills and automating these skills away will have bad downstream effects. I see people on Twitter asking grok to summarize a paragraph so I don't think further cementing this

The motivation is the same, power and control, but you need to run a slightly different playbook in different countries. In US, Republicans have been having Christianity as a front for decades.

Observable's pricing is bit out of bounds for what they offer. It feels like a lot of these data startups are just looking for large companies that will unsuspectingly spend a ton of money on something they don't need.

This how good lies work. You take an element of the truth and wrap it around the lie. Japan might very well be frustrated about immigrants but that doesn't make every complaint about immigrants true.

Both of these things are true. London doesn't build enough but rich people are sitting on supply and raising prices. London needs to build more houses as well as prevent people from turning them into Airbnbs or investment properties.
