One thing that annoyed me a bit with Tcl is that tclsh doesn't come with readline support, meaning you can't go back to previous commands using the up arrow. However, you can work around that using rlwrap. alias tclsh=rlwrap

I a big fan of the way Bob Nystrom skips the LR and LL theory and goes straight to recursive descent parsing plus the precedence-climbing trick. I'm of the opinion that if you have to learn ONE thing about parsing then it should be how

What made Tcl click for me was thinking that it is basically shell/Bash, except that it's a coherent and sensible design. Just like an unix shell, everything is a string and you don't need to use "double" "quot

The Lua benchmarks are a bit funny because many of them were tuned for LuaJIT, including tricks such as eval-based metaprogramming which work well in a JIT.

One of the things that is different is the matter of Moral Rights such as the right to be attributed as the author of the copyrighted work. In some jurisdictions those rights cannot be waived. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki&#

Another thing is that the current world is more hostile to RNA. Anyone who has ever worked with RNA will tell you that you need to be very careful during the preparation to avoid contamination with ribonuclease enzymes that degrade RNA. We&
