One thing I miss in ST2 Vintage mode is that <> brackets aren't recognized with things like ci< and di<.

At http://news.ycombinator.com/ask , you can see all of the Ask HN submissions. Is there something similar for Show HN? If not, I think that'd be quite nice to have.

I think I'd be hard pressed to find anyone here in the UK that doesn't know what Amazon is.

Looks like you're in part 2: https://plus.google.com/106419647632534512037/posts The circles were generated from a list at http://hngp.axxim.net/ , but that seems to be offline now.

I used 3 on my last open source C project, just to troll every faction of the indent war. I actually think it looks pretty nice. https://raw.github.com/udp/json-parser/master/json.c

For bonus points, get a compiler building with Emscripten and compile the code locally in the browser.

It reminds me more of C, where labels and goto are often used for error handling (labels using the same `:` syntax).

What end-user rights does the GPL grant or protect that the BSD license doesn't? The right to do whatever the hell they want with the code is granted by the BSD license. I wouldn't say the same for the GPL.

An upvote wasn't quite enough here: This is a lovely way of explaining the difference, and it'll be what I link people to in future when explaining why I opt for BSD-style licensing. Thank you.
