I can't speak to the technical merits of the machine, but I think IBM did a great job with the industrial design. It looks like some kind of alternate history where super-integrated vacuum tubes won the day.

It feels a lot more ergonomic, especially if you switch between cli and gui applications a lot. It's one thing I really miss when going from my work Mac to my home Linux machine.

Typically emails you get will look like "Hey ucosty, we've got some great candidates for you. I've attached their CVs here.". For emails from referrals they're more likely to be "Hey ucosty, your colleague foob

I've done my fair share of hiring (Tech company in London), and I don't think I've ever seen a cover letter included with any CV. Recruiters either don't ask for them or don't bother to pass them on. When we get ref

You can already buy an external Magic Trackpad from Apple ( https://www.apple.com/uk/shop/product/MJ2R2Z/A/magic-trackpa... ). Not terribly useful for a laptop unless you want to set up at a desk.

Ducks have a system for this -- they lay an egg a day but won't start incubating them until they have laid their full clutch. The eggs won't start developing until the bird starts incubating them, and they can remain in this state

You can build new towns, but they tend to have a chicken-and-egg problem with respect to jobs. No employers will set up shop in a new town because there are no employees, people moving in get jobs in the nearest city because there are none

Not OP, but I'm in the UK and find the OSM data to be not all that useful. The streets themselves seem mostly accurate, but there is almost no building data. If you had to rely on OSM data to get around, your best bet would be to live
