Relativity Whiskey is doing a similar thing (not the same process, just speed-aging): https://www.relativity-whiskey.com I've had it, and it's very convincing. I'm not an expert by any means, but I doubt I would b

Can an 85kWh battery do 190km at race speeds? Le Mans records are 140mph (225km/h) avg speed and 253mph (407km/h) top speed. EDIT: thanks for noticing, added metric equivs. The difference was just in the sources I found reporting

Just did some googling, and _including_ exit and entry through pit lanes, fastest refuel is 51.3s. I think a battery swap would be reeeeeally tough to accomplish. And most cars refuel every 14 laps, and races are about 384 laps. Totals over

Le Mans would probably be the worst place to get an all electric car performing adequately. Energy density and refill times just aren't anywhere near up to the task compared to gasoline. EDIT: or diesel

My view would be more that it was unclear _how necessary_ this was before January. I think a lot of people, pundits and politicians included, expected a certain amount of moderation, which hasn't really happened. I'd put this move

I agree they'd be a huge part of it. I guess I'm just trying to call out that you can't completely discount the influence the tech industry has had on the bay area by looking at _just_ housing prices. I'm certain there&#

You might be right, but this feels like a facile argument. Is SF an outlier in the last 30 years? Perhaps tech industry has supported a recent continuation of trends that died in the rest of the country. How has SF housing policy compared t

Man, I would have loved to pay for RethinkDB. Granted, the blame lies on me here, but something I was disappointed to see the first point not acknowledge that RethinkDB didn't really ask for money. I mean, I don't know if they cha

I think this choice was made because Django doesn't _require_ sessions to be used. So they're making a compromise that could (however marginally) improve security regardless of the configuration of the site. I think perhaps some w

From memory when this came up, I think the concern is someone spoofing a non-HTTPS version of your site to trick a browser into posting to the HTTPS version? Someone that understands this stuff properly will need to chime in.

Honestly, if I'm a hiring manager at Google, this would turn me off. I wouldn't reject him outright, but it's a yellow flag in terms how effective he'd actually be performing his job.
