I would be extremely careful with any service that claims to be on the "cloud". Backup your Email (no, not Gmail but Email) using Thunderbird or Outlook or any other old-fashioned email program. There's no better solution!. Use and keep thu

Even though Amazon is not a wholesaler like Sam's or Costco, but I won't mind getting movies at $35 per year. $79 is too much an yearly renewal for what appears to be just a guaranteed free delivery.

Agree. A finer example of such techniques are prevalent here on HN. Recall VirginMobile Nexus and black Friday items with tons and tons of comments. Coincidence? Appropriate timing? VirginMobile ran out of that product by the way.

Use Firefox with Slurp and keep your bookmarks to yourself. Delicious experiment shows that your bookmarks are not worth anything to anyone but yourself.

Makes no sense jumping from one dead service to another. You might as well use Firefox beta and Slurp to get your URLs out from delicious (with tags) and keep them to your local machine. Better liberate your data from the clutches of the c

Quora is an idiot. Internet should have its own revolution to get rid of such idiots from the wire.

Imagine when the next time around Google couldn't find a hero. Perhaps Microsoft will? There will be an endless race to finding a hero for the revolutions. Bad idea all around, a slippery-slope no less.

So are we expected to wear these T-Shirts in summer in Chicago? Nice idea at the right time but I am not sure why people would buy such things. But then again, you'd know better.

Quora's team is either disingenuous or lost themselves. Many of their own people are using Quora as a Twitter - sharing thoughts, chit chats, in a form of questions. How viable is that to sustain a service? If they wanted to create a socia
