Assuming that pi is a normal number [1], its digits are uniformly distributed. Therefore the density of a given binary sequence of length N in pi’s binary expansion is 2^-N. So on average, the offset for a given binary sequence will be on t

Undortunately with this solution you’re still storing the same amount of information as you’d normally do. It’s just encoded as offsets into pi’s decimal expansion. You can’t cheat entropy.

Sure, by all means they should keep up the good work. I'll be happy to switch when it's ready. But until then, I'll stick to my trusty Objective-C for serious work.

Yea, but you lose C++ interop, your binary will be inflated with those Swift proxy libs and your compilation times will increase 2-3-fold.

Exactly. I hate it when I have to look through 5 different “fixture” classes to find out what’s being set up by a test.

Kinda, but it’s far from trivial as you would need some sort of tolerance when comparing sites with dynamic content.

The issue with HPKP is that revocation is not possible if you don’t control the key that was pinned for your users. E.g. if an admin accidentally wipes the keystore, there’s no way of revoking the pinning info from the users’ browser. Taki

Nope. You always need end-to-end parity integrity checking. Your data goes through too many layers before reaching the storage medium. E.g. I once got a substantial amount of my pictures filled with bit errors because of a faulty RAM module
