How is this something that can happen? I mean, the only responsibility of an "authentication" endpoint is to release a JWT authenticating the current user. At least from the writeup, the bug seems so simple that it is unbelievable

I completely agree. I have no idea why many people seem to be fan of this `curl x | bash` approach. For pyenv all is needed is to clone their git repository and add a couple of lines to your .bashrc.

Could you explain why it is such a deal-breaker in your opinion? It is a single `apt-get install` (which probably downloads less MBs than our typical `npm/yarn` install). Consider that if pyenv came pre-packaged for ubuntu/debian,

The only thing I never understood about conda, is why it does not support packages from pypi. I mean, the Python community has a standard repository for packages (pypi). You cannot even name a library $something if $something is not availab

I do not understand, why we put emails in spam folders instead of rejecting them (as some providers do, e.g. mailbox.org, posteo.de). It may seem weird at first, but at least if something important would end up in Spam, the sender is going

I recommend using vcsh[1] to sync your dotfiles between different frequently used machines. This script seems to copy all the files every time you login which can slow down your login (as noted in the doc). It can however be useful to log
