My point is that no one is trying to short SpaceX as a hedge. It’s simply gambling. I agree that hedging is real and useful. The comment I’m replying to isn’t trying to do that.

Because LLMs degrade with context length. And even if they didn't, having to constantly ingest the same stuff is wasteful for execution and cost. Why stuff the context when you don't have to?

So they're constantly hemorrhaging their most valuable clients? Tech history is littered with the corpses of "open source but we sell hosting" services. Models are so expensive to train, you can't be losing the big clien

That's fair! I didn't read the comment I was replying to as being about the manipulation but, if so, I agree with their opinion.

I'm not an investor in SpaceX but I don't think shorting stocks at IPO should be allowed. The market should be given time to settle on a price, and it's unlikely that anyone needs to short it on day 1 for hedging. It's p

No, but the fact that they're the worst-performing BBB bonds, the company is burning cash, and the equity being down 38% since its peak after 1 month of trading is indicative of the market's…suspicions. We'll see what ratings

The NASDAQ is up 27% in the past 1 year. S&P 500 up 21%, DOW +20%. So, it's doing pretty well!

I think this could be true if you use a single Claude context, since it has its own reasoning in the context. But a separate code review agent does much better, in my experience.

Not my experience with my homie Claudius. The code review agent usually has feedback to be resolved before committing, which includes bugs and unhandled edge cases. Sometimes the primary context is understandably embarrassed. Sometimes it t

I gave feedback on how someone comes across and recommended how to fix it. What the OP said was obviously passive/directly aggressive. They can take or leave the advice. Your imagined scenario seems mostly fine, though I did give more

Nothing is beneath Altman, maybe, but Satya isn’t that dumb. MSFT cares about OAI but giving access to private data and trade secrets voluntarily would be catastrophic for them. Doesn’t feel like the type of mistake Satya would make.

These are similar to arguments that people made about MongoDB. You can store anything! And then most people who used it realized that this is actually terrible, in most cases. It looks like this is an artifact of when SQLite was written and

I would recommend removing "bro" from your lexicon, at least how you used it here. It comes across as aggressive and immature. Not a huge deal, but you'll get better results in life without it.

If you read the SpaceX IPO docs, the vast majority of their self-stated addressable market is AI enterprise SaaS tools. I’m not joking.

The topic comment at the time I’m writing this is asking fair questions, in my opinion. - Many people feel the death penalty is wrong in every case. - Some have a general familiarity with high-level politics of elites and wonder about selec
