I like the dream idea a lot. In a similar vein, I made http://keepdream.me/ to help people record dreams via email when you wake up. I can definitely see how people might prefer voice recording though. Another option to consider is SMS

Stypi has support for code formatting and syntax highlighting, and lets you play back all your edits. To my knowledge etherpad did not have these features.

This isn't Google's fault. I could get a couple machines and do the same thing if I had a list of 250 gigs of files. And I wouldn't be limited to once every hour.

If you're just making this for yourself, you might be better off emailing your provider's email-to-SMS gateway rather than using a service like this.

I built http://keepdream.me in 24 hour period based on a whim one day when I woke up. I fully expect to be the only long term user, but it was nice to learn about setting up node/receiving email on Heroku.
