My windows won't update due to some firmware bug past 23h2, every time I try it just blue screens, even from a disk Didn't think it would end up being the perfect time to stop taking feature updates and use security updates alone

I feel the same and it's also why I can't understand all these people using small local models. Every local model I've used and even most open source are just not good

I'm not contracted out to build a product for these companies or people like a factory would be So not really a good comparison When you have the design it takes away alot of the need to even reverse engineer in the first place

I switched to codenewroman mono with a nerd font. Makes my terminal look amazing as well. Especially since I've been working on a color scripts compilation that relies heavily on font being accurate

Do we know how much data the internet archive has? Is it even viable to replicate to multiple regions if it's 1000s of PB?

Oh I agree. But I'd say trust is the wrong word They're reliable, but would you really trust them? I think there's a bit of nuance there to differentiate the 2 though. Maybe I'm jaded from working with overseas factories

Everyone forgot about limewire and the masses installing every trojan known to man. Limewire made it easy, so people used it. The same would be true today if assume.

You're telling me they have no redundant copies at all in another location? I could see that due to the sheer size but im sure they have a robust disk pool that would take a lot for it to lose data

The industry basically treats any designs sent to China as a loss since they know it will be duplicated I don't think trust has much to do with it

Same. I switched from sonnet 4 when it was out to codex. Went back to try sonnet 4.5 and it really hates to work for longer than like 5 minutes at a time Codex meanwhile seems to be smarter and plugs away at a massive todo list for like 2 h

Afaict, it seems like a rust build on top of oxc and roll down? But again, all it says is it's fast. And vite is pretty damn fast and widely supported so? Plus vite exposes roll down config options so yea, what's the point?
