You're correct for console that handled that at the hardware level. I understood this section as referring to computer games, which didn't do that on the hardware.

I'd like them to make a V2 with proper triggers, the V1 seems to be the best made console out of all of these linux handheld.

Thanks for sharing. To save people a click the author of the tweet is opposed to adding a type system to Elixir not the BEAM, he seems to be seeing project like Gleam in a positive light.

I was just following the example from the docs, my use case is more like this: . ├── lib.rs └── foo/ └── mod.rs └── one.rs └── two.rs └── three.rs └── four.rs └── bar/ └── mod.rs └── one.rs

It's my bad I thought I could remove the mod.rs that just redeclares the submodules in my case.

Proof that it is still quite confusing, I tried to remove the mod.rs in my project similarly to that example but now I don't understand how to access these modules. With the mod.rs in place I can do this in my main.rs: pub mod foo

You're right that you can't destructure until you've established which side of the union you got, does the tag help with that? I like a Result type over an Either because it feels semantically more meaningful. I work with peo

I agree with Maybe not being that useful in TS but the point of an Either/Result type is that the caller is gonna handle it each branch differently. In your example the caller has no way to tell the difference between an error and the

You don't actually need the tag on Either. This is how I defined my Result type. The shape is enough to discriminate them. type Result<S, E> = Success<S> | ResultError<E>; type Success<S> = { value: S

I think WASM can do hard-realtime but that's not really the goal of wasm3, they advertise 14x slow-down compared to "native". However I think a lot of usages of MCU are not actually "hard-realtime", my connected lig

These last few days I've been tickering with wasm3 and Rust as way to run Rust on ESP32. The xtensa architecture has still not been merged into upstream llvm so it's quite hard to run Rust on these MCU.

Depends what you're building, I have what I would consider a small server app (Less than 10 JSON HTTP endpoints with some postgres), a dev incremental build takes 17.21s and a release build 7m 12s. A similar app in Go would probably ta
