True, I guess I imagined it more as building a shopping list throughout the day/week and ordering once at the end of the day, not separate orders for every button click.

Interesting idea. Seems like having one button per item would be overkill. Maybe have one generic button that opens an app on your phone to choose an item from your 'frequently purchased' items.

My public state school had their own police force. The actual University-paid officers weren't actually allowed to arrest anyone though. The 'real' cops were the city cops on the University beat.

Not necessarily. I've had security deposits where only a certain percentage is refunded after any necessary deductions. Depends on what they signed in the lease. But still, it was never designed to actually be collected, just a number

I graduated from high school in 2010 and had a few of these same meetings with administrators and the like. Luckily for me, one of the computer teachers was kind enough to encourage me behind the scenes and give me more constructive things

It's just CMD + Del. Probably to avoid accidentally hitting the Delete key and deleting files when browsing. Apple generally avoids making destructive acts easy.
