We have what is called "ekstravakt" job positions in Norway which could be called "call in only" positions. You get sick leave based on when you would normally work and you get pension, vacation money etc based on how mu

What we do in Norway is open the polling stations almost a month in advance so people can plan when to vote depending on their schedule. You can also vote by mail before or go to the local "rådhus" or town hall and vote there in c

Thanks both of you, I've padded my own subscription list today :) The thing about YouTube vs regular TV is that _I_ chose what to watch not someone else. I also chose the time to watch it. Slightly OT, but the host of the original Scra

I stopped watching regular TV around 2005 due to the influx of "reality-tv" and other crappy formats. What I used to watch before was real documentaries on discovery and it's family of channels. Now I just watch Festival of S

They had to stop putting the "price after savings" on their web pages in Norway long time ago, it just wasn't compatible with our laws. They also had to pay back money to buyers due to having the combined power of the motors

Ok, not quite zero but close to it. I've never seen a banner ad or tv ad for tesla outside of their stores. I suspect most of this cost is banners and such in their stores and video production for their youtube channel. Maybe they also

To me this looks almost criminal but I don't know advertising laws in the US. In my country you can't claim you are best in something without substantial evidence to back it up. Most just write "one of the best" to avoid

The article I refer to in the sibling comment claims 23 times an hour on average so it would mean about 550 times during a day/night if you don't sleep. It sounds a bit more plausible.
