Strange, considering that Skype on OS X / iOS was (still is?) better - ie pasting links would generate a thumbnail in messaging, Windows got this only recently. Also OS X client didn't had that annoying 'unread' bug. So.

Same here in Lithuania. I signed up for free tutorial and browsed their content - and it was basically empty. Confused browsed similar site - lo and behold - all tv series I wanted to watch were in US and not here in Lithuania. Netflix may

To be honest they should teach JavaScript instead of Python in highschools. Websites ('web apps'..) are a big deal in, atleast, teenager's life, so they could atleast install Tampermonkey plugin and script some functionality

I don't know, most people I know use XCode only for drag and drop quick UI stuff and for actual development they use AppCode (also supports Swift 2).

Busses update their location only every 1 minute and website just sends a get request every 5 seconds. Not what I would call realtime.

I'm all for native desktop and mobile applications, but in this case I'd actually love a web app - enter your domain, get certificate. Downloading a tool, reading man page, works out of the box only with apache/nginx - ehhh,

My reason would be: I can choose from a ton of C# positions, meanwhile Kotlin would have what? In my and neigbour countries I can find exactly zero Kotlin job offers.

I meant that I have no clue and intereset in notebook situation and workstation is a desktop PC. Same for servers - I have no idea what sysadmins use, nor I care. Monitoring shows CPU percentage, it reaches 80% - we tell them to upgrade. :)
