There was an excellent discussion on the subject two months ago and I bookmarked it. Unfortunately it reports "Invalid Operator" error when I try to use that bookmark now. We're looking to hook up a credit card processing to our app. As c

I hope my question gets answered here. In our case we're already incorporated and the product (not a prototype) is going through the final stages of beta testing. We are not very interested in money at this point (certainly not in $20k) but

Why bother with all that hard math if you can make $80k+ your first year after you get an associate degree in (for example) nuclear medicine. Point I'm making is that US economy is turning into "services economy", while science/engineeri

Why limit your audience only to Facebook users? If you like that approach (believer that "Facebook Platform" is the internet of the future) you could have gone wild and re-implemented proven web businesses for Facebook platform only: clo

I've worked with famous people who wanted to "do it again". The reality is that most of them refuse to admit that luck played some role in their last (successful) venture. This made them very annoying to work with in practice. Do not forg

I'd argue that there are at least two other MORE important factors: JS (IMHO) is somewhat closer to Ruby, compared to Python. In fact I suspect that his "secret 20% project" is Ruby to JS compiler (or vice versa) Also, (most importantly)

Fine effort indeed. But do not forget, he had to do all that heavy lifting just to fit into google's corporate policies. To me JavaScript makes very little sense because I like RoR mostly for the first 'R'. Putting Ruby aside, I don't se

Flex has severe graphical performance issues on big surfaces: think of a giant 100% flash website, maximized 1600x1200. This is why most flash games, even simple ones, prefer to run in a tiny window in the middle. (as originally designed).
